Home team wears yellow. Away team wears blue.
All players must wear shin guards inside soccer socks. Cleats are preferred, sneakers are allowed for games. Players must wear a YYSL jersey for games. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!
Please arrive fifteen (15) minutes before game time.
Field closures and game cancellations will be posted on
Facebook and the YYSL website; the League will make every effort to post notifications one (1) hour before game time.

Breaks: 2 minutes between quarters; 5 minutes between halves
Each coach pays half the referee cost.
- U8 coaches pay $15 each to the referee
- U11 coaches pay each referee $18
- U14 & U18 coaches pay each referee $20.
- When games are played against a home school team on their fields, YYSL coaches do not pay referee fees.
- When games are played against a home school team on YYSL fields (Cousler, OVE), YYSL coaches will pay all referee fees.
